BEST FEMALE ASSASSIN ON TV

"LIKE NOTHING ELSE ON TV"
It’s difficult to get me to truly buy into a new Thrilar drama. But BBC America drama Killing Eve is that show, and you’ll be doing yourself a disservice if you miss it. I am always facinate to powerful female characters or women leading roles. There are so many strong female characters in movies and series. But I have never seen a spy thriller with 2 lead women characters. One who is a female assassin and other is spy. There maybe others female serial killer characters in films or series but they always try to use the sexuality as a weapon or they try to sexualize the woman's character and potray them sensualy. But In Killing eve Villanelle's character is  badass, dangerous, witty and is an unhealthy ESFP personality type. As it is written by women they didn't sexualize the character at all. This character went against a lot of stereotypes usually potrayed on television. She is impulsive, thrill-seeking and indulges in all kinds of sensory pleasures. Not to forget a Psychopath.

"Killing Eve” is a television show that gets your hopes up. Based on the Villanelle novel series by Luke Jennings, each of the show's series is led by a different female head writer. The first series had Phoebe Waller-Bridge as the head writer, the second series Emerald Fennell, the third series Suzanne Heathcote and the fourth and final series Laura Neal. The spy-thrillar gives us the wild story of two unstoppable women technically at odds. There’s Eve Polastri ( Sandra Oh), a British-born, American-raised MI5 employee who is stuck at a desk job when we meet her, and Villanelle (Jodie Comer), who is certainly not stuck to anything other than her knack for killing. Villanelle is a world-class international hit-woman with definite sociopathic tendencies. The series follows Eve Polastri British intelligence investigator tasked with capturing psychopathic assassin Villanelle. These two fierce women, equally obsessed with each other, will go head to head in an epic game of cat and mouse, toppling the typical spy-action thriller. The story is fantastic, it is so clever, so dark, yet so humorous, it really has been a thrilling ride. If I'm totally honest I must say the key factor to the show has been Jodie Comer(Villanelle), she has been utterly sensational, a part she could have easily overplayed, but to her credit she made Villanelle very sincere. Sandra oh(eve) , David Haig and Fiona Shaw all utterly brilliant also.In one sentence, the best female villain I have ever seen. You can relate to villanelle's character with Arthur Fleck from the Joker movie.Jodie Comer's (Villanelle) captivating acting, body language, the way she interacts, will hold your attention till the end. The best female-antiheroine capable of doing anything. Although she is a villain, she is fascinating. As her Dialouge goes "You should never call a psychopath a psychopath. It upsets them." Yes dialogues are awesome, just like Eve you"ll be obsessed with villanelle too. The four and last instalment of the series is coming in this February 27th,2022. If you like to watch Thrillar, Serial killer, dark comedy and badass female lead it is a perfect series for you without any doubt go for it you won't regret it.
